Fr. Rob Walsh

Fr. Rob Walsh was ordained to the priesthood in 2006 and was first assigned to the Shrine of St. Jude’s from 2006-2008.  He then worked in the archdiocese Office for Priest Vocations and as priest secretary to the Archbishop Emeritus from 2008-2010.  His last assignment was chaplain at the Catholic Student Center at University of Maryland.  Originally from Bowie, Maryland, Fr. Rob attended University of Maryland and had a 10 year career in the automotive industry before entering seminary. He credits many family members and friends with inspiring his vocation to the priesthood, but primarily credits the example and friendship of Msgr. Tom Wells, a lifelong family friend.
